I met Mike Mahoney at a business lunch, 2-3 years ago, and he made such a great impression that unlike so many others, his card never left my wallet, and when my wife and I were ready to upgrade from a condo to a house, there wasn’t any question of who to call. Throughout the five long months it took us to find that place that was “just right” (i.e. not a non-starter because of major structural, contamination or infestation issues, as was frequently the case in this seller’s market), Mike was an absolute Superstar (with a capital “S”), always going out of his way to help us navigate the hurdles and keeping our spirits aloft through the searching and bidding processes until we found our “forever home”. And when we found the place that ticked off all our boxes, and discovered that it (like all houses) needed a little bit of TLC, Mike was right there by our side, alternately referring us to some truly great contractors and telling us which details to be mindful of, when hiring others. Although this was not my first experience shopping for real estate (actually, it was my 3rd), the honesty, integrity, kindness and decency that Mike brought to the table (not to mention his sense of humor) vastly exceeded those of his predecessors and made this an experience not only worth remembering, but referring to others (which my wife and I have both done now, repeatedly). Seriously, if you’re looking for a home and are ready to be treated exceptionally, Mike Mahoney is the only pro you need to call. Others may be good, but Mike is truly exceptional!
